That was one of my favorite comments from a wife that is a very good cook.  She was confused by her husbands new found knowledge about cooking.  My cooking is different.  I am a scientist who believes in reaching out and not limiting myself to working inside the lines or cooking just the way it is published in the cookbooks.  There are many great cookbooks on the market and all of them will tell you to experiment, well I certainly have experimented.  Never be satisfied and think of new ways to cook every time you walk into the kitchen.  Solutions are where you find them, even in cooking.
